seared beef & broccoli with sweetened soy sauce

ingredients:
- 150 g beefsteak
- 150 g broccoli
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons salad oil
- a little salt and pepper

step 1:
Cut the beef into 2 cm. strips.

step 2:
Cut the broccoli (including stems, if desired) into pieces.

step 3:
Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium flame and sear the broccoli for a couple of minutes while sometimes stirring.

step 4:
Add the beef and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sear to desired doneness.

step 5:
Add the sugar and soy sauce. Mix and sear 1 more minute.

comment:
The sweetened soy sauce suits beef and broccoli very well. The crisp seared broccoli accentuates this dish and makes it colorful.
