- 5 1/4 ounces beefsteak
- 3 1/2 ounces onion
- 6 1/3 ounces demi-glace sauce
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 1 1/2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- a litle salt
- a litle pepper
- 2 servings steamed rice

Peel the onion and slice thinly. Cut the beef into 1 in. strips.

Heat 1 tablespoon of the butter in a frying pan and sear the beefsteak and onion. Sprinkle the salt and pepper over it. Saute for about a couple of minutes. Add the demi-glace sauce and wine. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 480 °F. Spread the remaining butter in two fireproof dishes. Place the steamed rice in the dishes.

Pour the beef sauce mixture over the rice. Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese over the mixture. Bake in the oven at 480 °F for 10 minutes.
