braised chicken & onion

- 19 ounces chicken
- 15 ounces onions
- 2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tablespoon salad oil
Peel the onions and cut in half. Cut each half into 1 in. wide slices.
Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces.
Heat the salad oil in a pan and sear the chicken and onions for a couple of minutes on medium heat.
Add the water, sugar and soy sauce. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes on medium-low heat.
This is a quick recipe, and the combination of chicken, onions and sauce is very delicious.
