Braised Meat & Potatoes with Miso
Ingredients

ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 ounces thinly sliced pork
  • 1 big onion
  • 10 1/2 ounces potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons green peas
  • 5/6 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon salad oil
  • 1 tablespoon red miso
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sake
  • 1 tablespoons soy sauce
Step 1

Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces. Peel the onion and potatoes. Cut the onion into 8 sections. Cut the potatoes into 6 to 8 pieces.

Heat the salad oil in a pan. Add the the pork and saute it until the color changes.

Add the onion sections and fry.

Add the potatoes and fry.

Add the water, sugar, sake, soy sauce and the miso. Cover and boil for 10 minutes on high heat.

Add the green peas and mix.
