ingredients:
- 1/4 pound japanese-style char siu or ham
- 1/6 ounce fresh long green onion (negi) (optional)
- suitable amount mayonnaise
- 1 serving steamed rice
step 1:
Slice the Japanese-style char siu (or ham) into strips lengthwise, and then, if the strips are too long, cut them in half. If using the long green onion, cut it into thin slices.
step 2:
Place the steamed rice in a bowl and place the char siu over the rice.
Spread the mayonnaise over it and sprinkle with the long green onions (optional).
comment:
This dish is often served at ramen shops. The combination of char siu, negi and mayonnaise suits steamed rice very well.
