Seared Beef & Asparagus with Soy Sauce

  • 7 ounces thinly sliced beef
  • 3 ounces asparagus
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • a little salt
  • a little pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salad oil
Step 1

Cut the beef into bite-size pieces. Cut off the roots of the asparagus 1 in. from the end and slice diagonally.

Heat the salad oil in a frying pan over a medium flame and sear the beef and asparagus for about 5 minutes, sometimes stirring.

Add the salt, pepper and soy sauce. Saute for 1 more minute.

Only beef and asparagus are used in this dish, but the umami of both is strong, so this dish becomes rich and delicious. Asparagus is highly nutritious and contains vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin C, etc. and is good for your health.
