- 7 ounces boneless chicken breast
- 4 ounces onion
- 1 ounce canned green peas
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 servings cold steamed rice
- a little salt
- a little pepper
Chop the onion and cut the chicken into bite-size pieces (1 in. × 1 in.).
Heat the butter in a frying pan over a medium flame and sear the chicken. After it changes color, add the chopped onions and sear again for 2 minutes.
After the chopped onions become clear, add the cold rice. Sear while mixing for 3 minutes.
Mix in the ketchup, green peas, salt and pepper, and sear for another minute.
Serve in a dish.
This dish is easy and delicious. This fried rice is often used for omu-raisu, fried rice wrapped in an omelet.
