seared spinach & carrot with soy sauce

- Japanese: Hōrensō to ninjin no shōyu-itame
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 1/2 large carrot
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- a little salt
Cut the carrot in half. Slice as shown in the pictures. Cut off the stems of the spinach and cut into about 5 cm. wide pieces.
Add the olive oil in a frying pan and sear the carrot slices for a few minutes over a high flame.
Add the spinach pieces and sear.
When they become soft, add the salt and soy sauce.
The carrot suits spinach very well, and this is a very delicious recipe.
