seared spinach & carrot with soy sauce

ingredients:
- 7 ounces fresh spinach
- 1/2 large carrot
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- a little salt

step 1:
Cut the carrot in half. Slice as shown in the pictures. Cut off the stems of the spinach and cut into about 2 in. wide pieces.

step 2:
Add the olive oil in a frying pan and sear the carrot slices for a few minutes over a high flame.

step 3:
Add the spinach pieces and sear.

step 4:
When they become soft, add the salt and soy sauce.

The carrot suits spinach very well, and this is a very delicious recipe.
