- 2 packages ramen noodles or
- Chinese noodles
- 140 g Japanese-style char siu or ham
- 45 g white part of fresh long green onion
- (negi)
- 2 boiled eggs with soy sauce (optional; see recipe)
- 600 ml Chinese soup stock or chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 liter water
step 1:
Slice the Japanese-style char siu (or ham) into strips lengthwise.
step 2:
Cut the green onion into 5 cm. pieces. Then cut in half lengthwise. Then slice the open halves lengthwise into thin strips. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise.
step 3:
For boiling the noodles later, pour the water into a big pan and bring to a boil in advance. In a separate pan, bring the Chinese soup stock (or chicken broth) to a boil. Remove from the heat.
step 4:
Pour 1 tbsp. soy sauce into each serving bowl. Add the boiled Chinese soup stock (or chicken broth) to each bowl.
step 5:
Add the ramen noodles (or Chinese noodles) to the boiled water. Boil for 1 to 4 minutes (follow the cooking instructions on the bag). After boiling, drain the noodles in a colander and quickly add to the serving bowls.
step 6:
Place the Japanese-style char siu or ham, sliced green onion and eggs over the noodles.
