ingredients:
- 480 g cooked thick white noodles (udon)
- 200 g thinly sliced pork or ham
- 170 g cabbage
- 85 g carrot
- 150 g onion
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- a little salt
- a little pepper
- 1 tablespoon salad oil
- suitable amount bonito flakes (optional)
step 1:
Remove the core from the cabbage and cut the cabbage into bite–sized pieces. Cut the carrots into julienne slices.
step 2:
Peel the onion and cut in half. Cut each half into 1 cm. wide slices.
step 3:
Cut the pork (ham) into bite–sized pieces.
step 4:
Heat the salad oil in a frying pan and sear the pork (ham) on medium heat. Add the salt.
step 5:
After the pork changes color, add the cabbage, carrot and onion. Saute and stir them for 5 minutes. Add the cooked thick white noodles (udon) and saute and stir them 3 more minutes.
step 6:
Add the soy sauce and pepper. Saute and stir them for another minute.
Serve in a dish. If you like, sprinkle bonito flakes on top.
