- 1 serving deep-fried breaded pork cutlets
- 1 serving curry flavored fried rice
- or japanese-style curry pilaf
- 1/3 serving fried spaghetti with ketchup
- 60 g canned demi-glace sauce
- 2 tablespoons wine
- 1 tablespoon water
- a little salt
step 1:
Slice the pork cutlet across into 2 cm. strips.
step 2:
Put the wine in a small pan. Simmer and bring to a boil release the alcohol. Add the canned demi-glace sauce, water and salt. Stir and simmer for a few minutes.
step 3:
Place the pork cutlet strips over the fried rice on a plate. Pour the sauce over the pork.
step 4:
Place the fried spaghetti with ketchup on the side of the plate.

This dish with three different dishes served on one plate is quite hearty. It is famous in the Kyushu region, especially in Nagasaki City, and is served in restaurants and coffee shops. It usually has the three standard types shown in this recipe, but there are also such substitutes as hambarger steak or pilaf. A little vegetable salad is usually served on the plate. This dish is called Toruko (Turkish) rice, but it is not known how it got this name.
