Spaghetti with Sardines & Tomato Sauce

ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 ounces sardines (canned with soy sauce) 
  • 7 ounces canned tomatoes
  • 7 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 garlic clove
  • a little salt
  • a little black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Step 1

Chop the garlic into thin pieces. Pour the water into a pan. Bring to a boil and add the spaghetti.

Add the olive oil to a frying pan. Add the garlic and sear for 1 minute.

Add the sardines and canned tomatoes. Mix and cook for 2 minutes.

Cook the spaghetti until done. Remove from pan and drain in a colander. Add the spaghetti to the frying pan and mix. Add the salt and black pepper. Mix and cook for a few minutes. Remove from heat.
