ingredients:
- 7 ounces thinly sliced beef
- 1 pound cooked buckwheat noodles
- (soba)
- 3 cups bonito soup stock
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- If you want, you can also add shichimi (seven-spice seasoning).

step 1:
Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces.

step 2:
Pour the soup stock into a pan. Bring to a boil on medium heat and add the beef. After boiling, skim off the surface scum.

step 3:
When the beef changes color, add the sugar, soy sauce and the cooked buckwheat noodles (soba). Cover the pan and boil for a couple of minutes. Remove from heat.

step 4:
Serve in 2 big bowls and sprinkle the buckwheat noodles (soba) with shichimi (seven-spice seasoning) if desired.
