Chop the garlic.
Heat the oil in a frying pan over a low flame and sear the garlic for about a couple of minutes.
Add the rice and mix for a couple of minutes over a medium flame.
Add the salt, pepper and soy sauce, and mix for 1 minute.
Serve in a dish.
This is a very simple but tasty dish. It is often served in teppanyaki (hibachi style cooking) restaurants.
