ingredients:
- 3 1/2 ounces fusilli
- 1/3 ounce dried hijiki
- 3 slices ham
- 4 ounces cucumbers
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- a little salt
- 1 cup water for soaking hijiki
- 1 quart water for boiling fusilli
optional:
- 2 ounces corn
- 2 1/2 ounces sliced onion

step 1:
Soak the dried hijiki in the 1 cup of water in a bowl for 30 minutes. Remove and drain. Squeeze out any excess water with your hands.

step 2:
Thinly slice the cucumbers. Cut the ham into bite-size pieces.

step 3:
Pour the 1 quart of water into a pan. Bring to a boil and add the fusilli. After boiling, drain the fusilli in a colander.

step 4:
Put the fusilli, hijiki, cucumbers, ham, salt and mayonnaise in a bowl. Mix them.

comment:
This is a very light salad. If you like, add corn or onion.
