- 3 1/2 ounces fresh spinach
- 2 ounces carrot
- 2 teaspoons white sesame seeds
- or ground sesame
- 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 1/2 cups water
step 1:
Cut off the stems of the spinach and wash it. Cut the spinach into 2 in. long pieces. Cut the carrots into julienne slices.
step 2:
Fill a medium-size pan with the water. Bring to a boil and add the carrots. After 2 minutes, add the spinach. Boil 2 minutes. Drain the spinach and carrots. Immerse in cold water to cool them. Drain the cold water from the spinach and carrots. Squeeze out any excess water with your hands.
step 3:
Put the spinach, carrots, soy sauce and white sesame seeds or ground sesame in a bowl and mix.
