ingredients:
- 600 g potatoes
- 1/2 to 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- a little pepper
- 1 liter water
step 1:
Peel the potatoes and cut into 3 cm. cubes.
step 2:
Pour the water into a pan and add the potato cubes. Cover and boil for 25 to 30 minutes on medium heat until they become soft. Remove from the heat. Drain the water from the pan.
step 3:
Cover again and saute on low heat in the pan. Shake until there is no remaining water. Remove from the heat. Add the butter, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and shake again.

The seasoning for this type of recipe is traditionally only salt (Frosted Potatoes). This is one of several variations on that basic recipe.
