ingredients:
- 25 dumplings (See Step 1 to Step 5 of
- “Fried Dumpling Recipe”)
- salad oil for deep frying
dipping sauce:
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- suitable amount Chinese chili oil (rāyu) (optional)
step 1:
Heat the oil to 320 °F and deep-fry the dumplings about 2 minutes until golden brown. Remove and drain on a rack.
step 2:
Make the dipping sauce in a bowl and pour into shallow dishes. If you like your sauce a little hotter, add some Chinese chili oil (rāyu).
comment:
By deep-frying dumplings, the dumpling wrappers become crisp. You can enjoy the different texture from fried dumplings, which are soft.
