- 4 ounces shelled shrimps
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 ounce shredded mozzarella cheese
- 6 ounces Alfredo sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- a litle salt
- a litle pepper
- 2 servings steamed rice
step 1:
Cut the avocado in half lengthwise then peel. Cut each half into 1 cm. wide slices.
step 2:
Heat 1 tablespoon of the butter in a frying pan and sear the shrimps. Saute for about a couple of minutes, sometimes stirring. Add the Alfredo sauce and stir. Simmer for a couple of minutes.
step 3:
Spread the remaining butter in two fireproof dishes. Place the steamed rice in the dishes and place the avocado slices over the rice. Preheat the oven to 480 °F.
step 4:
Pour the shrimp sauce mixture over the rice. Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese over the mixture. Bake in the oven at 480 °F for 10 minutes.
comment:
Alfredo sauce suits shrimp and avocado and tastes even better with rice. Though this dish does not use meat, it is rich and delicious.
