ingredients:
- 1/2 (5 1/4 ounces) block tofu
- 1 egg
- 1/3 ounce long green onion or scallion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 servings steamed rice
- 2 1/2 cups bonito soup stock
step 1:
Cut the tofu block in half lengthwise. Then cut each half across 1 time. Finally, place the knife half way down the side of the block and slice across to form 8 bite-size pieces.
step 2:
Chop the long green onion (or scallion) into small pieces. Beat the egg in a bowl.
step 3:
Boil the bonito soup stock and add the tofu. Boil a couple of minutes.
step 4:
Add the rice, salt and soy sauce. Cover and boil a couple of minutes.
step 5:
Add the egg. Mix a couple of times. Remove from the heat.
Pour into serving bowls. Sprinkle with the chopped long green onion (or scallion).
