ingredients:
- 1 package natto (fermented soybeans)
- 2 fresh okra
- a few bonito flakes (optional)
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 serving steamed rice

step 1:
Wash the okra and slice into small pieces.

step 2:
Place the fermented soybeans in a small serving bowl and add the okra. Sprinkle the bonito flakes (optional) and pour the soy sauce over the okra.

Stir just before eating and serve over steamed rice (optional).
comment:
The crispy okra has a nice texture. The combination of a fermented food (natto) and a vegetable (okra) is very healthy. Japanese usually eat natto over steamed rice.
