Rice Stuffed Omelet with Demi-Glace Sauce



  • 2 1/2 ounces demi-glace sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons red wine
Step 1

To make the sauce, heat the demi-glace sauce, ketchup and red wine in a sauce pan. Stir and simmer for a couple of minutes. Remove from the heat.

Beat the eggs, and mix in the milk, salt and pepper.

Heat the butter on medium heat in a frying pan and add the egg mixture. Place the Fried Rice & Chicken with Ketchup on top of the egg mixture.

Because the egg is cooked soon, immediately fold it over the fried rice. Remove from the heat.

Omu-raisu demigurasu-sōsu gake

Place on a plate and pour the sauce over it and serve.


This dish, as well as Rice Stuffed Omelet with Ketchup, is very popular. The demi-glace sauce has a richer taste than ketchup.
