ingredients:
- 9 ounces dried soybeans
- 1/6 ounce dried sea tangle
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 cups water

step 1:
Rinse the soybeans. Pour the water into a pan. Add the beans and soak for a couple of hours.

step 2:
Cut the dried sea tangle into 1/2 in. squares with scissors and set aside for later use (see Step 4).

step 3:
Cover the pan and bring the water to a boil on medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and boil for 20 minutes.

step 4:
After the beans become soft, add the sugar, soy sauce and dried sea tangle. Cover and simmer for about 60 minutes on low heat.
