When cool, sprinkle the potato starch lightly over it and cut in half with a knife.
step 5:
Form the mashed sweetened red bean paste into 2 balls.
step 6:
Wet your fingers with water. Roll out the two rice cakes and potato starch. Place a mashed sweetened red bean paste ball in the middle of each one. Wrap the rice cake around each ball to form the rice cake filled with red bean paste (daifuku).
comment:
If you have rice cake and red bean paste (anko), it's relatively easy to make. The red bean paste suits chewy rice cake very well and is delicious with just the right sweetness.
