Salt-grilled fish is prepared by putting a bit of salt on the fish. Teriyaki fish is grilled after being marinated in soy sauce and mirin. Fish cooked in broth is prepared by boiling with water, soy sauce and sugar or mirin. Gas or electric stoves in Japan always come with a fish grill.
