- 5 1/4 ounces chicken
- 12 in. long green onion
- or leek (white part)
- 1/4 ounce ginger
- 1 1/3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces. Cut the green onion (or leek) into 1 1/3 in. long sections.
Grate ginger. Mix soy sauce, sugar and grated ginger.
Marinate the chicken in mixture (Step 2) for about 1 hour.
Brown the chicken and green onions (or leeks) over a low flame for 15 minutes. Remove from the pan.
To form one bite, insert a stick through one green onion (or leek) section and one chicken piece.
