Sushi tops the list of the many things that my wife and I enjoy in Japan. My wife and I have been living and working in Japan for close to six years, and we have never been tired of eating many different kinds of sushi. Sushi is something that the Japanese people can be proud of. It is low in fat and high in protein, with no cooking oil used. Sushi is a work of art as much as a food, since it looks so beautiful when arranged properly on the Japanese traditional plate. I highly recommend that those who are visiting Japan try sushi beginning with Makizushi wrapped with seaweed, cooked sushi such as steamed shrimp and egg sushi, and move on to raw fish sushi. I am sure you will enjoy this unique Japanese food as much as we do.
