Yakitori is the most famous fingerfood in Japan. In a previous explanation about yakitori, I described that one of the most popular yakitori is called tori, which uses only chicken thigh or breast. Actually, yakitori called negima is as popular as tori. It is pieces of chicken and negi (long green onion) alternating on a bamboo stick. Negima are especially popular with women because chicken and vegetables are healthy when eaten together. The seasoning is sweetened soy sauce (tare) or salt (shio). The next time you have yakitori, please try negima.
