There are many pizza delivery chains in Japan, but pizza delivery is probably more common in the West. In Japan, delivery of sushi has long been a common practice, and it is normal for almost every sushi restaurant to offer delivery service. For table seating in sushi restaurants, nigiri-zushi, maki-zushi, inari-zushi and so on are almost always served in sushi oke - wooden or plastic sushi tubs which have been coated with lacquer and decorated with patterns. By the way, sushi oke can also refer to the big round wooden tub used to make sushi rice. (Other terms for that are handai or hangiri.) Even in deliveries, the sushi is brought in sushi oke, so the sushi is served in the same atmosphere as in the restaurant. After eating, the customer puts the sushi oke outside the front door where it is picked up later by the restaurant, and used over and over again after thorough washing each time. Recently, there are franchise shops specializing in sushi delivery only, which deliver sushi in simple plastic containers which can be discarded by the customer.
