  • 15 ounces rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water

There are two ways to cook steamed rice. The first uses a pan. The second uses a rice cooker.

Wash the rice. Place the washed rice in the pan. Add the 2 1/2 cups water. Soak for 30∼60 minutes.

Continue to simmer for about 5 minutes until the surface water disappears. Then cook at extremely low heat for another 12 minutes.
