- 3 1/2 ounces Japanese-style
- char siu or ham
- 2 eggs
- 4 in. or 2/3 ounce leek
- or green onion
- 2 servings cold steamed rice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons soup stock powder (chicken, Chinese or bonito) (optional)
- 2 tablespoons salad oil
- a little salt
- a little pepper

step 1:
Chop the char siu (or ham) and leek (or green onion).

step 2:
Beat the eggs in a bowl.

step 3:
In order to prevent the rice from becoming sticky, preheat a frying pan (or wok) without oil for 1 minute on high heat. Then, add the oil, eggs and cold rice and mix. Cook for another minute on high heat.

step 4:
Add the char siu (or ham) and leek (or green onion), and mix while cooking for another minute.

step 5:
Add the soup stock powder (optional), salt, pepper and soy sauce, and stir on high heat for another minute.

Serve in a dish.
