ingredients:
- 2/3∼1 ounce bonito flakes
- 8 in. dried sea tangle
- 3 1/3 cups cold water
step 1:
Soak the dried sea tangle in the water in a pan for 30 minutes.
step 2:
Cook over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove the sea tangle before the water begins to boil.
step 3:
Add the bonito flakes. Reduce the heat, and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
step 4:
Turn off the heat. Wait until all the bonito flakes sink to the bottom of the pan. Strain the liquid through a colander slowly to obtain the soup in a bowl.
