yakitori (broiled chicken) bites

ingredients:
- 150 g chicken
- 30 cm. long green onion
- or leek (white part)
sauce:
- 7 g ginger
- 1 1/3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
step 1:
Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces. Cut the green onion (or leek) into 3.5 cm. long sections.
step 2:
Grate ginger. Mix soy sauce, sugar and grated ginger.
step 3:
Marinate the chicken in mixture (Step 2) for about 1 hour.
step 4:
Brown the chicken and green onions (or leeks) over a low flame for 15 minutes. Remove from the pan.
step 5:
To form one bite, insert a stick through one green onion (or leek) section and one chicken piece.
