- 100 g mozzarella cheese
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
step 1:
Mix the soy sauce and rice vinegar.
step 2:
Slice the mozzarella cheese into bite-sized pieces.
step 3:
Pour the soy sauce mixture into a plastic bag for cooking or into a container. Add the mozzarella cheese and chill for about 2 hours in the refrigerator. During that time, turn the mozzarella cheese pieces a couple of times to make sure the coloring and seasoning is distributed evenly. Remove the mozzarella cheese from the soy sauce mixture.
comment:
Mozzarella cheese is less salty because it is not fermented, Soaking it in vinegar and soy sauce increases its saltiness. Soy sauce and rice vinegar are fermented foods which go well with mozzarella cheese.
