- 21 ounces potatoes
- 3 teaspoons potato starch
- a little salt
- 3 quarts water
- 1 1/2 cups salad oil

step 1:
Pour the water into a pan and add the potatoes. Boil for 30 minutes. After boiling, peel the potatoes. Mash them and cool for more than 20 minutes.

step 2:
Mix the mashed potatoes and the potato starch in a bowl. Form into 8 balls, and then press into round-shaped patties.

step 3:
Heat the oil to 340 °F and deep-fry the potato patties for a couple of minutes. Remove from the pan and drain on a rack.

Sprinkle the salt over the top.
