

ingredients:
- 7 ounces thinly sliced beef
- 7 ounces japanese radish
- (daikon)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 5/6 cup water
- 2 teaspoons salad oil

step 1:
Cut the beef into bite-size pieces. Peel the Japanese radish and cut into 1/2 in. wide slices. Cut them into 4 quarters.

step 2:
Heat the salad oil in a pot. Add the beef and sear for 1 minute.

step 3:
Add the water, Japanese radish (daikon), sugar and soy sauce. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes on medium-low heat.
