

step 1:
Wrap the tofu in a paper towel. Heat in a microwave oven for 2 minutes to remove the water. Cut the tofu block in half lengthwise. Then cut each half across 1 time. Finally, place the knife half way down the side of the block and slice across to form 8 bite-size pieces.

step 2:
Cut the green pepper(s) in half lengthwise. Remove seeds and cut into thin slices.

step 3:
Heat the salad oil in a frying pan. Sear the tofu and the sliced green peppers on a medium flame. After the tofu changes color, sear the opposite side.

step 4:
When the green peppers become soft, stir in the salt, pepper and soy sauce and cook for a few more seconds.

comment:
The bitterness of the green pepper goes well with the fried tofu. The sliced green bell pepper is easy to eat and very suitable for this dish.
