hijiki & pickled plums seasoned rice

ingredients:

  • 280 g rice
  • 5 g dried hijiki
  • 60 g pickled plums
  • 400 ml water

step 1:

Wash the hijiki. Remove the seeds from the plums.

step 2:

Wash the rice. Add the water, hijiki and pickled plums. Switch on the rice cooker.

step 3:

After cooking, stir all ingredients into the rice.

This dish is very simple and delicious. The acidity of the pickled plums becomes mild when cooked and provides a nice accent to the rice.
