Braised Chicken & Japanese Radish

Step 1

Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces. Peel the Japanese radish and cut into 1 cm. wide slices. Cut them into 4 quarters.

Heat the olive oil in a pot. Add the chicken and sear for 1 minute.

Step 3

Add the water, Japanese radish (daikon), sugar and soy sauce. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes on medium-low heat.

The chicken stock soaks into the Japanese radish (daikon) and makes it very soft and delicious.
