ingredients:
- 7 ounces carrots
- 7 ounces japanese radish
- (daikon)
- 1/2 ounce ginger
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
step 1:
Cut the carrot into about 1/2 in. wide pieces and cut lengthwise in half.
step 2:
Peel the Japanese radish and cut into 1/2 in. wide slices. Cut them into 4 cubes.
step 3:
Cut the ginger into julienne slices.
step 4:
Place the water in a pot. Add the carrot, Japanese radish, ginger, sugar and soy sauce. Simmer for about 20 minutes on medium heat until the vegetables become soft.
