Frozen rice burgers

Rice burgers, a variation of the typical hamburger, use buns made from rice and sandwich ingredients different from hamburger. A famous Japanese hamburger chain was consulted by the Japanese government in 1987 to solve the rice surplus problem at that time, which led to the development of a rice-based product, which was launched in December of that year. Today, rice burgers are becoming more and more familiar, with even the world's most famous hamburger chain selling them on occasion in Japan, and they are also sold as frozen foods in supermarkets. The rice that serves as the bun is formed into a circular shape and baked to create a charred finish that prevents the rice from falling apart. Ingredients that go well with rice are utilized, and hamburger steaks, which are often sandwiched in hamburgers, are rarely seen. The sandwich ingredients include soy sauce-flavored barbecued meat, thin slices of grilled beef or pork, and tempura. Even though rice burgers are not often made as a home-cooked dish, we currently have two rice burger recipes on our recipe site that you can cook. If you are in Japan, why not buy rice burgers?
