ingredients:
- 7 ounces boneless pork loin
- chops
- 1 onion
- 1 tablespoon salad or olive oil
teriyaki sauce:
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar, sweet sake for seasoning (mirin) or honey
- 2 tablespoons sake or water

step 1:
Make the teriyaki sauce in a bowl.

step 2:
Cut the pork into strips. Cut the onion in half and cut each half into 1 cm. wide pieces. If you want to intensify the flavor of the pork, soak the pork in the teriyaki sauce for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

step 3:
Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the pork and onions. Saute for about 5 minutes, sometimes stirring. Add the teriyaki sauce (if the pork was not pre-soaked in it) or add any remaining sauce from the pre-soaked pork. Saute for 2 more minutes.

comment:
Teriyaki sauce, which originated in Japan, is usually paired with chicken or yellowtail. This sauce also goes well with pork and onions, making this dish delicious.
