step 1:
Cut each tube-shaped fish paste (chikuwa) in half lengthwise. Cut them in half.

step 2:
Put the flour, water, green laver (ao-nori) and curry powder in a bowl.

step 3:
Add the tube-shaped fish paste (chikuwa) and mix.

step 4:
Put the tube-shaped fish paste (chikuwa) and olive oil in a frying pan. Sear them for 4 minutes. Remove from heat.

Unlike deep frying, with takes a lot of time, you can cook this dish easily because it uses only 2 tablespoons of olive oil. The curry powder gives it a rich taste.
