
ingredients:
- 120 g ground pork
- 150 g japanese white radish
- 150 g carrot
- 5 teaspoons soy sauce
- a little salt
- 800 ml bonito soup stock

step 1:
Peel the Japanese radish and cut into 1 cm. wide slices. Cut them into quarters. Cut the carrot into about 1 cm. wide pieces and cut them into quarters.

step 2:
Mix the ground pork in a bowl. Form into 6 (2.5-cm.) balls.

step 3:
Add the bonito soup stock, Japanese white radish, carrot and meatballs to a pan. Cook for about 20 minutes on medium heat until the vegetables become soft.

step 4:
Add the salt and soy sauce and stir. Serve in 2 bowls.

Umami comes out from the vegetables and meatballs, and makes the soup very mellow.
